RLI Lancashire complete coaching “Dream Team”


RLI Lancashire are delighted to announce Mick Worrall as assistant coach of the team to face a Polish-Hungarian select in October.

Mick has an outstanding resume having played Rugby League for Great Britain in 1984 and for Oldham, Salford and Leeds in a career spanning from 1979 – 1992. He has since been coaching at St.Annes Oldham who will host the RLI Lancs team.

Mick will join head coach Glenn Warhurst, himself a former Salford and St. Annes player and coach. The two will be assisted by team Manager Kieron Brown and RLI board member Des Foy in the backroom.

The new teams first match is October 28th at St.Annes RLFC with already a number of talented players in the mix, appeals are out for more to get involved, Glenn and Kieron will announce details of training/trials in the coming days.
